Sock Paradise

Apparantly...
I may just have to go visit Japan.

"I have never seen so many beautiful socks or so many stores devoted entirely to them."
"The advanced sock culture can be attributed in part to the custom ofremoving one's shoes upon entering a home."

These pages are from a book called "A Year In Japan" by Kate T. Williamson. It's an artist's visual journal of sorts, with short, handwritten text and illustrations. I saw the book at the library and was intrigued, so I checked it out. I came upon these pages while reading it this morning. It made me smile. You all should know how much I love colorful socks. Yes... I may just have to visit Japan...someday.
