Handmade Christmas: Maria's Sweater Monster & Knitted Wristwarmers

When I wanted to give each of my nieces & nephew a monster (or cat), I picked this one out for Maria because of the curly hair. Maria usually has gorgeously curly red hair, but she talked me into using a straightiron on it the day before.


I also made her some knitted wristwarmers. The funny thing is that those wristwarmers were supposed to be a Christmas gift for her last year, but I wasn't finished with them yet (I'm not a very fast knitter). So I embellished a ready-made headscarf instead...
